Our Story
Rob Andrus
In 2020, Rob Andrus established EvolutionTabs out of a deep passion for boating and enhancing the experience for riders and drivers alike.
Based in St. George, UT, Rob frequents some of the most pristine boating spots, including Lake Powell, Sand Hollow, and Lake Mead.
His vision was to innovate watersports for everyone by creating a seamless method to transform any boat's wake with the touch of a button.
Not All Waves Are Equal
Spending thousands of hours on the water each week, in boats from all price ranges, Rob developed a strong desire to improve the boating experience for everyone.
Rob created a wave modifying system (EvolutionTabs) that would generate the optimal wave for surfing or wakeboarding. This evolved wave would need to be consistent and easy to control, even for novice drivers, ensuring that every captain could enjoy the same exceptional wave that they put out for their crew.
In short, Rob's vision was to surf behind his boat with his young daughter at the helm, consistently achieving the perfect wave every time.

Install Trim Tabs
Installing these tabs is very easy to do yourself. We can walk you through it. Or you can use one of our preferred installation partners. Call us and we'll help get you started!

Connect Controls
Select the desired controller setup, rocker switches or joystick, and install on your boat's dashboard. Connecting the tabs to the controller is simple and easy.

Evolve Your Wave
With the click of a button you can easily adjust the tabs to change the shape of your wave. These controls are also often used to adjust the boat position at cruising speeds around the lake.
